Colin Rayner chosen as chef at Bonitas Bistro

Award-winning chef from Bermuda will head the culinary team at Summerland’s Bonitas Winery.

Colin Rayner competed in local culinary competitions in Bermuda, eventually representing Bermuda on the Bermuda Culinary Team in the Taste of the Caribean Competition. The team won gold and silver medals.

Rayner has also worked in the culinary industry in Great Britain.

Rayner came to Canada three years ago, eventually settling in Kelowna. He was impressed with the growing local culinary scene as well as the quality of available local produce and artisan foods.

The Bistro will be serving both lunch and dinner.
